Nadir Burjorji Godrej is an eminent figure in the Indian industrial landscape, serving as the Managing Director of Godrej Industries Limited, a key entity within one of India's largest business conglomerates. Born in 1951, Nadir is a part of the illustrious Godrej family, which has been a cornerstone of Indian industry for over a century.

Educationally, Nadir boasts an impressive background. He began his academic journey at IIT Bombay, later transferring to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He furthered his studies with a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and completed his education with an MBA from the renowned Harvard Business School.

Throughout his career, Nadir has been instrumental in the growth and diversification of Godrej Industries, particularly in the realms of animal feed, agricultural inputs, and chemicals. His innovative approach has led to the development of several patents in the field of agricultural chemicals and surfactants. Apart from his leadership at Godrej Industries, Nadir also holds the position of Chairman at Godrej Agrovet and serves as a Director in various other Godrej group companies.

Nadir's contributions extend beyond his family's businesses. He has actively participated in several industry associations, including the Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA), Indian Chemical Council (ICC), and the Oil Technologists’ Association of India (OTAI). His dedication to fostering Indo-French relations is evident in his role as the President of the Alliance Française de Bombay.

For his outstanding contributions to industry and society, the French government honored Nadir with the Ordre national du Mérite in 2002 and the prestigious Légion d’Honneur in 2008. He has also been recognized with Life Time Achievement Awards from various organizations, including OTAI and Chemexcil.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Nadir is a polyglot, fluent in six languages, and has a keen interest in poetry and mathematics. He is also recognized as a published poet.
