An experienced chief executive in the not-for-profit sector, Iain spent seven years with Sussex-based charity, the South of England Agricultural Society which celebrated agriculture and promoted food production and education of the countryside. He also managed their 250-acre venue business which hosted business conferences, outdoor events and festivals and special occasions.
His early career was in business-to-business publishing, event management and online publishing.
Iain took over as the Chief Executive of FOSFA International in July 2020, following the retirement of Stuart Logan. Working alongside the Council, Committees, and secretariat team, he has embarked on an ambitious modernisation programme of FOSFA’s strategy, governance systems, and membership services as part of a new five-year Business Plan.
He has a successful track record of senior level business management working in both large corporate, medium-sized entrepreneurial environments and the not-for-profit sector.
